Alpha an opportunity to explore the questions of life
Alpha is a ten-week introduction to the Christian faith that includes dinner, a video talk, and discussion groups each week. Alpha is about building friendships with people. Alpha is also about great meals and interesting discussions.
At Alpha, you will have the opportunity to explore some of the big questions of life in a non-judgmental atmosphere and to make connections with others who are asking and exploring, too. Some of the biggest questions of life involve God, and Alpha is a place to ask and discuss those questions. At Alpha there is no question too simple, no question too deep, and no question too hostile. If you find this intriguing, call the church office (847-336-4800) for details on our next Alpha Celebration Dinner, and join us to learn more about Alpha.
Dates & Times: Introduction Dinners are held regularly at local restaurants. Please join us for this dinner to learn more about Alpha, and consider joining us for its 10-week session of dinners, talks, and discussions. Course sessions on Sunday mornings or Wednesday mornings (for women only) and evenings run cyclically. Contact Marion Medina at marionm@immanuelhome.org for registration and more details.
Our topic for the Introduction Dinner is "Christianity: Boring, Untrue, Irrelevant?"
