Welcome to Upward Basketball

Immanuel is entering its eleventh season of Upward Basketball for boys and girls in grades 1-6.  Upward Basketball offers a break from the norm.  The primary focus of Upward is to develop the winner in EVERY child, not just a few.  With this goal in mind, the league teaches the love of God while promoting character and self-esteem in all who participate.

Important Dates:

Evaluations - Thursday, September 16, 2010 (6-8:30 PM); Friday, September 17, 2010 (6-8:30 PM); Saturday, September 18, 2010 (8-10 AM)

Practices - begin the week of December 6, 2010 (your child's coach will contact you to inform you of when your child's practice will be)

First Game - Saturday, January 8, 2011

Trinity Day - TBD - Trinity International University players will be at Upward games all day, and then all Upward families are invited to attend the TIU women's game at 5:30 PM and the men's game at 7:30 PM on the TIU campus in Deerfield.

Picture Day - TBD - players should report one hour prior to their game time for their team picture.  Parents need to be at their February 6 games ONE HOUR EARLY for team pictures!!

Awards Celebration - Saturday, March 5, 2011 - two award ceremonies are held: 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM.     

In case of inclement weather, game cancellations will be listed here.

A Place for Brew coffee bar will be open on Upward game days from 8:30 AM until 1:30 PM!
